While you probably don’t want to spend your time in a public forum, these sites can provide a great deal of information. Here are 12 popular forums and discord for designers and developers that you should consider using. Each has something unique to offer, so take a look at each before you decide which to use.

A Discord server is a community of users that use this program to communicate with each other. Users can create a channel that is dedicated to a certain topic. You can then search through these servers and find people who share your interests. You can find a server about anything from Ariana Grande to Android app enthusiasts. There is a Discord server for every niche. Discord is more of a social networking app than a gaming server.

Among the popular forums and discord for designers and developers, COVID has changed my social life. The platform was redesigned to be more user-friendly and appealing to a wide variety of users. Its user base increased by 47% between February and July of 2016, demonstrating its value as a communication tool. For designers and developers, Discord is an excellent choice. It is not the only platform for communication.

Slack is more reliable than Discord. It features SSO for secure authentication and data encryption, as well as integration with some of the top DLP providers. Discord relies on a client-server architecture, which helps keep IP security in check. Furthermore, you cannot join other servers unless the host has invited you. Both communication apps offer round-the-clock customer support. So, if you’re a developer or designer, you’ll want to check both options out!

Sitepoint is a huge design social network with over 250,000 members. It is the best place to share ideas and get constructive feedback from fellow designers. It also offers exclusive previews of new design tools, technologies, and products. You can even sell your designs here! It also has a marketplace where you can interact with other designers and find solutions to your problems. Aside from the forum, Discord is an excellent communication tool for designers and developers, with over 250 million registered users.

Both Discord and Slack have their pros and cons. Discord has the advantage of being free. However, it does require a little getting used to. It is easy to join a channel and start talking. You can even join multiple channels. A voice channel allows you to talk to any member of your team. Discord has a ‘push-to-talk’ feature, which allows you to turn on your mic simply by pressing a button.
